In wake of the barbaric attacks by Hamas Terrorists on October 7th, 2023 Israel called up over 350,000 reserve troops to defend their homeland. Without an efficient and experienced operation, there are material risks, such as supplies stalled in transit or equipment lacking necessary certifications for use. Project Tikva was launched as a focused campaign to handle these extraordinary complexities with the support of The Helping Israel Fund.

Due to the unprecedented enlistment, there is an immediate need for protective gear, medical supplies, and other equipment that cannot currently be sourced from within Israel. Project Tikva is on the frontlines in Israel and working closely with suppliers, handling all of the logistical and regulatory barriers to ensure the efficient and successful delivery of items.
Our Mission
Supply
There are severe shortages of protective gear, medical supplies, and other equipment that are not currently available in Israel. They need to be urgently sourced and shipped from overseas.
Logistics
At this time the availability of capacity is very limited. At present the IDF is challenged with alignment and process; having boots on the ground to effectively lead the logistics of the last mile is mission critical.
Compliance
Any gear that enters service with the IDF must be tested and meet particular standards. Proper relationships and processes in place vis-à-vis customs are another area where impediments could be lethal to the cause. Lack of approval could cause items to be confiscated and donated funds would be rendered useless.
Funding
If all of the other hurdles are overcome, the procured items will reach their destination. Typical requests from the field are each for 10 - 150 soldiers trying to secure life-saving gear. The need is immediate and the cost of protecting our soldiers is high.
